Child's Background Story:

He is the only child and his mother passed away when he was two years. His father, Moses Mauniji, took him to his uncle and never went back to visit or even bother to see him.
Since his uncle was a hawker, he found the responsibility too hard for him and he threw Msalia out ending him up on the streets of Nakuru.
He has been in the streets for the last 8 years. In the year 2013, during the Easter Sunday, Pastor Sammy invited street children to his church and Benson was among the kids. He explained his story to Pastor Sammy and he also showed interest of going to school and thus when he was taken to the rehab centre.
He is now in the rehabilitation centre where he is going through counseling sessions and since his arrival, he has never abused drugs.
He positively transformed into a fine and well mannered young man he is now is high school at Rain Edge in form 2.
