Lucy is the only child and has been brought up by a single mother. Lucy used to stay at the dump site( Landfill) before she was brought to Sure 24. Her mother could not afford her school fees and Lucy was in and out of school due to lack of school fees. Lucy’s mother collects leftover foods, scrap metals and plastic items at the dump site for sale for upkeep. The family is financially unstable and thus when her mother came to request for assistance of her daughters education at Sure 24 children’s Home, she was taken in. Lucy is happy to have joined school at Living Fountain Academy and she is now in class two.
